Stevanato is proud to have contributed to the preservation of some of the most important archaeological sites in Italy. Over the years, the company has specialized in archaeological work and for the protection of the artistic and historical heritage.

The company has worked for a long time with the Archaeological Superintendence of Rome, Naples and Venice for the recovery of archaeological sites by performing, in addition to the restoration, also the removal and the relocation of structures and artifacts from ancient times. Over the years, thanks to the experience acquired during the various archaeological works carried out, it has grown steadily and has expanded the network of clients, collaborating not only with the Superintendencies for Archaeological Heritage and Italian Universities, but also with private companies and religious institutes. Different and interrelated professions form a team of technical specialists in the field of the historical research and archaeological work, able to provide services that meet high quality standards.

Archaeological works carried out:

  • Naples Metro – Duomo Station: removal for the subsequent relocation of the discovered monumental complex of the Roman era

  • Piazza del Municipio (City hall square), Naples: removal for the subsequent relocation of the walls of the Angevin period found during the excavations; removal for the subsequent relocation of Roman and Aragonese artefacts found during the metro excavations

  • Piazza Nicola Amore, Naples: work to recover historical remains like walls and part of the cathedral

  • Naples Cemetery: Excavations for walls recovery from the Angevin period

  • Museum of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Salerno: removal and relocation of a Roman tomb in tuff dating back to the II century BC. found during the excavations of the municipality for the new road system

  • Faugnacco, province of Udine: removal of the church bell tower

  • Quarto d’Altino, province of Venice: removal and relocation of the war memorial
  • Fossamerlo, province of Treviso: removal and relocation of the brick capital

  • Zerman, province of Treviso: removal and relocation of the brick capital

  • Basilica di Aquileia, province of Udine: removal of artefacts from Roman times
  • Secondary schools in Spinea, province of Venice : removal of the mosaics from the Fascist era

  • Villa Manin, Passariano, province of Udine : removal of the statues of the colonnade
